Royal Television Society Awards Lenzflare's own resident editor, Ed Elliott has recently learned that his graduation film (from last year), having won the regional Royal Television Society Awards, has been selected as one of three from across the UK to go forward to this year's Nationals The prestigious event, which is attended by many high level, industry figures, is being held at The Barbican in London. Ed took out some of his valuable time to give us a quick statement, "I'm obviously over the moon that the film has been selected. It is a good film, a film of which both myself and all the cast can be very proud. If i win, i'll be the happiest person in London, and if i don't win, i'll still be the happiest person in London, because the film was never about receiving awards, it was about giving a small amount of joy to an audience. And, its achieved that, many times and will continue to do so, because film, unlike most things... is forever." Watch this space for further developments. |
