HD READY!

HD Recording - the only way to record.

Lenzflare are now using HD as the preferred acquisition format for all of their productions. The decision to move into a complete HD capture and edit workflow was made for one reason... to provide the highest quality product for our clients.

High Definition video, also known as HD or High Def, has a significantly higher resolution than that of standard definition video and is already confirmed as the format of the future.

The BBC and many other commercial TV stations have stated their plans to migrate to HD over the next few years, and with technological advances accompanying the emergence of consumer HD ready TVs, Lenzflare are proud to be at the forefront of this move.

"...already confirmed as the format  of the future..."

Shooting and editing in native HD quality means that we have the option to down convert the final output to standard definition to maximize the compatibility of the final DVD or video when it is distributed.

Retaining the master copy of the film in HD means that our clients can have a HD DVD for use in screenings or presentations whilst also providing them the option of releasing a full HD copy of the film at some point in the future.

“It’s been a really exciting move for Lenzflare and our clients. Being able to produce films in such exceptionally high quality will make sure our business and our client’s businesses stand out from the crowd and remain at the forefront of our industries. We have also migrated to a completely HD tapeless production workflow over the last 6 months which has drastically shortened the turnaround time for our films.” Colin Mottram, Lenzflare
